Develop Your Own IIoT System that features Digital Twin, an AI-powered, Preventive Maintenance System

Phase 1: IIoT

1. How to generate useful data for preventive maintenance using Sound and Vibration sensors?
2. How to work with data from sensors in real-time?
3. How to transfer this data to a web server using popular Web Sockets?
4. How to create a basic IIoT dashboard to show the results of data?

Phase 2: The Bonus: AI & ML 

1. BONUS: How to create a Machine Learning (ML) Model from the data collected by using ML Model Tools like Edge Impulse and Google Teachable Machine?
2. How to deploy your ML Model onto the MCU?
3. How to use your AI system as your machine’s digital twin and its preventive maintenance?

What should you already know to learn and benefit?

1. Basic knowledge of working with an Embedded Systems environment
2. Basic knowledge of how to use IDEs to program boards

What do you need to get to attend?

1. You must get your own laptop with Arduino IDE pre-installed 
2. Laptop must Wi-Fi connectivity and USB slot
3. Mobile phones/devices with Internet connectivity to help you connect to the Net

What will be the setup at the workshop?

1. We will create multiple teams with 4 to 5 attendees in each team
2. A complete hardware kit will be provided to each team, which will be taken back at the end of the workshop
3. Source code will be provided for you to copy and paste–to reduce delay
4. Each team will follow the instructions of the faculty (step by step) and learn hands-on

1. Develop a complete IIoT system using sensors
2. Develop an AI/ML model using the data from sensors
3. Deploy the AI/ML model for preventive maintenance
